چکیده

Abstract Salmonellosis is an extremely contagious disease caused by bacteria of the genus Salmonella which affects both humans and animals. a cause for concern in cattle business because it zoonotic that can serious invasive infections people besides, infected herds suffer economic welfare losses. Consequently, SIRB (Susceptible - Infected Recovered-Bacteria) model being constructed to study transmission process Dublin diary calf. The associated basic reproduction number stability theory are used investigate analysis equilibrium points. Numerical simulations was carried out effect sensitive parameters on R 0 . Also, impact environmental transmisssion dynamics eradication threshold shown help reduce spread disease.

Salmonella Dublin infection in young dairy calves: transmission parameters estimated from field data and an SIR-model.

In this study we used field data collected from October 2001 to January 2002 to estimate number of days of faecal excretion of Salmonella Dublin bacteria and time to seroconversion in infected calves below the age of 180 days. Based on these estimates all calves in four endemically infected dairy herds were grouped into the following infection states: susceptible (S), infectious (I) and resista...

Immunization of mice and calves against Salmonella dublin with attenuated live and inactivated vaccines.

Previous findings, viz. that mice can be successfully immunized against infection with Salmonella dublin with either live or inactivated vaccine, were confirmed. Immunity lasted for at least 12 weeks in mice which had been immunized with inactivated alum-precipitated vaccine. The immunogenicity of inactivated vaccine gradually decreased on storage at 4 degrees C, but this was only detectable if...
